Paint Correction prep starts with a foam bath presoak, then a hand wash with any need bug/tar removal. Next we will preform an iron decontamination followed by a clay treatment to remove embedded surface contamination. Finally the vehicle will be foam washed again by hand and dried before moving on to the paint correction process. Depending upon the extent of the correction needed the process may add additional passes (i.e. multistage correction) of the following steps; initial taping of all edges where wax can be trapped or trim that could be burned. A Rupes Bigfoot LRH21 and LRH15 Dual Action Orbital buffer will be used to perform an aggressive compounding stage to remove any surface scratches equivalent to scratch usually removed by 1500 to 3000 grit sand paper. Following compounding we will preform the needed number of passes with a correction compound to remove any swirling that may exist in the paint. Following these steps, multiple stages of polishing will be performed to remove any remaining light scratches as well as possible marring or holograms from compounding. We strongly suggest to follow this process with one of our Ceramic Coating Packages to help keep your vehicle's paint protected from future damage.

As the name suggests, this level of Paint Correction utilizes just one stage of machine polishing. While not considered a "perfection detail" given the single-stage process, a big transformation in the condition of the paint can be achieved. We can usually remove 50-70% of swirls, and light defects on softer paints (I.e. Lexus, Toyota) whereas on hard paints (i.e. Mercedes Benz, BMW) this could be a 40-60% defect removal. There are a lot of different variables that dictate just how much correction that you can safely achieve in a one-step process, and we approach each vehicle and paint system accordingly to maximize results for the given budget or goals. This Paint Correction Process will be one level of an abrasive compound to remove scratches, swirling, followed by a polish to remove any micro-scarring from the compounding stage.

This paint correction process will be one level of a heavy duty abrasive compound to remove scratches and swirling, followed by a polish to remove any micro-marring from the compounding stage and refine the finish and increase gloss and clarity. Given the differences in paint types, condition, and size of vehicles, the rate for the Multi-Stage Paint Correction varies, but will consult with each vehicle owner to provide more precise pricing structure.
